Bainbridge Fire/Rescue Visits Kindergarten Students for Fire Awareness Month

As part of Fire Awareness Month activities, the Bainbridge Fire/Rescue Company paid a visit to Bainbridge Elementary School to meet with Kindergarten students and teach important fire safety skills. Captain Zachary Slothower, Sergeant James Deiter, and Firefighter Jonathan Deiter led the session, explaining key fire prevention practices.

Bainbridge Elementary School brought energy and fun to students in late October with a Day of Play filled with hands-on activities. Throughout the day, students explored a variety of stations at their own pace, encouraging collaboration, imaginative play, and physical activity.

Elizabethtown Area High School Students Attend Special Olympics Youth Bocce Summit

Four Elizabethtown Area High School students recently represented the District at the 2025 Special Olympics Youth Bocce Summit held at Penn State University, Harrisburg campus. The student delegation included Bennett Hynicker, Adora Jackson, Madison Lehman, and Noelle O’Brien, who attended alongside their Unified Bocce coaches, Lacie Meyer and Amy Robinson.

Elizabethtown Area High School Hosts Successful Instant Decision Week 2025

Elizabethtown Area High School recently concluded Instant Decision Week 2025, held October 6–10, providing seniors with the opportunity to meet college and military representatives and receive on-the-spot admission decisions. The week also included informative sessions with military branches for students exploring alternative career paths.
