EASD's Plan for Success
As we prepare for the 2025–2026 school year, a lot has been happening over the summer. Our administrative teams have been planning and organizing, teachers have engaged in professional learning, and our operations staff has been hard at work getting buildings and classrooms ready. All these efforts are focused on ensuring a smooth, successful start for our students on Monday, August 25.
All the summer planning has had a consistent focus: our unwavering commitment to equipping every learner with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. To achieve this, we focus on three foundational areas: fostering a Culture of Belonging, promoting Academic Excellence through our Life Ready Model, and providing comprehensive Student Support Services. These pillars work together to ensure every student is seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
To help families better understand how our schools are organized for student success - and how you can actively support this work - we will be sharing a series of focused articles throughout August. These articles will highlight the key areas of our efforts, from fostering a culture of belonging to promoting academic growth and providing essential student services. Our Student Support Services team plays a critical role in helping every student access and benefit from their educational opportunities. Whether students face academic, social, emotional, or health-related challenges, our team works hand-in-hand with families and community partners to provide individualized supports that help students overcome obstacles and thrive.
