Back to School Center
In preparation for the 2025-2026 school year, the Elizabethtown Area School District will host a series of orientations and open houses. These events will give parents, guardians, and students an opportunity to tour the buildings and learn more about their child’s school before the first day.
The schedule is as follows:
Bainbridge Elementary School
Open House
August 21 from 2-3:30 p.m.
This event is for students in grades K-2 and their families. It includes self-guided tours of the school and an opportunity to meet the faculty and administration.
East High Street Elementary School
Open House
August 21 from 2-3:30 p.m.
This event is for students in grades K-2 and their families. It includes self-guided tours of the school and an opportunity to meet the faculty and administration.
Bear Creek School
Open House
August 21 from 2-3:30 p.m.
This event is for students in grades 3-5 and their families. It includes self-guided tours of the school and an opportunity to meet the faculty and administration.
Elizabethtown Area Middle School
Sixth Grade Orientation
August 14 from 9-10:30 a.m. or August 21 from 1-2:30 p.m. (select the session that is most convenient for your family).
This event is for students in grade 6 and their families. School counselors and administration will be available to answer questions about the upcoming school year.
Seventh/Eighth Grade Open House
August 14 from 1-2:30 p.m. or August 21 from 9-10:30 a.m. (select the session most convenient for your family).
This event is for students in grades 7-8 and their families. It includes self-guided tours of the school.
Elizabethtown Area High School
EAHS Open House
August 19 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This event is for students in grades 9-12 and their families. It includes self-guided tours of the school.
Link Crew Freshman Orientation
August 21 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This event is for students in grade 9 for the purpose of introducing incoming freshmen to the Link Crew program. Link Crew is a peer mentorship program where trained 11th and 12th grade student leaders support incoming 9th graders throughout the school year, helping them make a smooth and successful transition to high school.
Freshman/New Student Orientation
August 21 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
This event is for students in grade 9 and any new students to the high school along with their families. It includes a presentation by school administration and self-guided tours of the school. Students should bring their fall semester class schedules with them to the event.
